Save the Date!

This year’s A Gracious Christmas promises to be a fascinating time with such accomplished speakers as Martha Nesbit, Mary Kay Andrews, and Jane Coslick.

Please join us for on December 7, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00p.m. for presentations, demonstrations and a marketplace that will make your Christmas shopping and decorating a breeze.   

The morning will conclude with a delicious lunch presented by local chef and restaurateur, Kirk Blaine of the Howlin’ Hound and Castaways.

Our Speakers:

Martha Nesbit

A food columnist and cookbook contributor specializing in Savannah cuisine, Nesbit has appeared on Food Network’s “Food Nation with Bobby Flay” and QVC’s “In the Kitchen with Bob.” In her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, Nesbit was the food editor and restaurant reviewer for the Savannah Morning News, and she contributes a column, “Savoring Savannah,” to Savannah Magazine. She also collaborated with Paula Deen on four cookbooks, including Paula Deen Celebrates! and Paula Deen’s My First Cookbook.

Mary Kay Andrews

Mary Kay Andrews is the New York Times bestselling author of 24 novels including THE WEEKENDERS, BEACH TOWN, LADIES’ NIGHT, SUMMER RENTAL, DEEP DISH and HISSY FIT.

Mary Kay Andrews’ first cookbook, THE BEACH HOUSE COOKBOOK, published by St. Martin’s Press is now available. She and her family divide their time between Atlanta and Tybee Island, where they cook up new recipes in two restored beach homes, The Breeze Inn and Ebbtide, both named after fictional places in Mary Kay’s novels. In between cooking and plotting her next novel, Mary Kay is an intrepid treasure hunter whose favorite pastime is junking and fixing up old houses.

Jane Koslick

A daughter of First Presbyterian Church, we are proud to have Jane speak with us.  She is an award winning professional designer and consultant known for her Tybee cottage restorations.  She has been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living, Georgia Magazine, Southern Lady and Steamboat Magazine
