Safe Place is the first step to help for any youth in crisis or at risk. This community collaboration program, operated by youth shelters or youth serving agencies make it possible for any youth to access help at locations which display the Safe Place sign.

The National Network for Youth (NN4Y) is the nation’s leading organization advocating at the federal level to educate the public and policymakers about the needs of homeless and disconnected youth.


The mission of United Way of the Coastal Empire’s 2-1-1 is to provide area citizens with a streamlined process of getting health and human services information and the opportunity to donate goods and to volunteer services by using one easy to remember phone number (2-1-1).
