Julie Wade

Julie Wade is a lawyer who serves as the Executive Director of Park Place Outreach, Inc., a teen homeless shelter in Savannah.  A Georgia native, she attended the University of Georgia College of Arts and Sciences and School of Law.  Prior to transitioning to non-profit, Julie clerked for a Federal Appellate Judge in Atlanta, and practiced law in Hawaii, Boston, and Savannah for 16 years.  She also served on the Board of Education for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System for 10 years, representing District One.

Julie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the UGA Alumni Association, Planned Parenthood Southeast, and Educate Chatham.  She is a member of the Metropolitan Savannah Rotary and has participated in Leadership Georgia, Leadership Southeast Georgia, and Leadership Savannah.  Julie has been recognized as a UGA 40 Under 40 and Savannah Magazine Rising Star.  Under her leadership, Park Place Outreach has twice been recognized as a Bulldog 100 business.

Julie is married to Drew Wade, her high school crush in math class, and has three school age children, Henry, Margaret, and Etta.
